Welcome to PTS (Training) Ltd and thank you for your interest in our Painting and Decorating courses.
Our courses include the 4 week Professional Painting and Decorating course for those wishing to start their own business, plus a series of one week Modules including:-
Painting ~ Wallpaper Hanging ~ Coving and Wide Vinyls ~ Basic Special Effects ~ Advance Special Effects ~ Theme Rooms ~ Interior Décor.
This gives you the freedom to choose your own training program and to develop new skills as your business develops.
We are also a registered Thompson Prometric Health and Safety Test centre. So if you aim to work on site you will need to complete the health & safety test in order to obtain your CSCS (Construction Site Certification Scheme) site card. This is included within the four week course fee. For the domestic market this is not necessary, although this may change in due course.
As part of our Four Week course we will give you the help and guidance to start up your own business, putting into practice the skills that we have taught you, including sales and marketing, how to successfully advertise, business administration etc.
Our instructors have many years of experience but all work to our structured training syllabus. The courses include unlimited use of materials and tools.
Our aim is that by the time you finish the PTS course you will have the knowledge, the techniques and the skill to produce an profession job for your customer’s, and you will understand how to price work, advertise and run your own successful business.
